Disneyland Cars Land Rides Fall 2012

Our family visited Disneyland in the fall of 2012 JUST to see the new Cars Land and we were not disappointed!

We loved the happy feeling when we got there.  Disneyland is so amazing at creating “the experience” in everything they do.  The scenery was amazing.  There was careful attention brought to each building and restaurant.  Our family liked to hang out at the “Cozy Cone Motel”.  It had lots of yummy lunch items and treats served in cones.  Disney just thinks of every detail and spares no expense.

We attended California Adventure on a “low peak” day, but Cars Land was plenty busy.  The park even had the mob patrol out to control the flow of people getting in.  I think the reason it’s so popular is because there’s finally something for boys that competes with the Disney princesses (but girls like Cars Land too) and because the Cars Land rides are really quite fun and you can go on them over and over without getting tired of them, which is a big plus for parents!

We took photos and videos of the Cars Land rides and scenery and hope you enjoy them. There are 3 rides in Cars Land (see them below).

HI! Thank you for emailing back – I think that is too funny 🙂 I do not think I will ever see that again 🙂

By the way, can I have your opinion about where to stay : I do not want a DLR hotel, but a good neighbor 🙂 I was thinking CanDY Cane Inn – i would like a “decent ” breakfast and the hotels own shuttle – can you recommend any other one ? THanks

    Have a great day!!
    Renee

    1. Hi Renee- If you have 2 kids, I would HIGHLY suggest the Park Vue Inn right across from Disneyland (literally cross the street and you are there at the entrance). They have a full service breakfast (eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, cereal, yogurt, toast, bagels, etc etc) and they had a free dinner every day which saves a lot of money. They are so customer service oriented as well. If you have more than 2 kids, it may be hard to fit there. Our family had to graduate to the Marriott with a 2 room suite last time and that was nice too, but we had to drive in and pay for parking every day. I haven’t heard of the Candy Cane Inn, but I have stayed at the Castle Inn and it was pretty dumpy.

Hi – My family was watching your Radiator Springs Carsland Video Nov 2012 and thought we saw us in your video. There is a little girl with a Minnie hat that has “Kaylie” for name and a little boy with a R2D2 hat sitting next to her – We saw this 2:56 on the video – But we went January 2013 – Is this a coincidence that we have the same hats/names or is this video really of us? Thank you !! Please email to let me know 🙂 Thanks

    1. Hi Renee, That is so funny! It must be a coincidence because that’s when we went (November) and our kids were wearing those same exact hats!!! Except our girls names may be spelled differently. You must have good taste 🙂

Sorry if you got this reply multiple times, I’ve been having issues with posting it.
